Join Willie Drennan and his Ulster Scots Band on Thursday 28 January in Ballymoney Town Hall for an informal evening of music, stories and song. The first part of the evening features a celebration of Rabbie Burns and his connection with Ulster. The second part of the evening is an opportunity to explore the Ulster Scots heritage through local music and stories with an opportunity for audience participation and discussion.
This evening has been organised as part of the Peace III Cultural Fusions Programme which offers people across the North East area the opportunity to explore different traditions, cultures and art forms. It is funded by the European Union’s Peace III Programme managed on behalf of the Special EU Programmes Body by the North East Peace III Partnership of which Ballymoney Borough Council is a member.
The evening begins at 8pm. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. The event is organised by Ballymoney Borough Council Cultural Services in conjunction with Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee.
