Commenting on the latest addition to the Halloween events offer Chamber President Winifred Mellet enthused: “This is wonderful news, it’s something completely new for the town and adds to the art and culture dimension of our festival, which includes an exhibition by fine watercolourist Hugh Thomson at the Town Hall. Thomson illustrated the works of many famous Victorian authors including Charles Dickens and famously illustrated all of Jane Austen’s novels and Quality Street.
