The club has been based in the Rasharkin Community Centre for 7 years.  At present there is a children’s section which practises on Monday evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.  The club is keen to start up an adult section and would encourage attendance for this new senior class.

The club is affiliated to Chujo Karate Association and this gives the club Northern Ireland Karate Board recognition.  Over the years club members have won titles at CKA level.  Chief Coach is Dan Redmond 6th Dan and he is assisted by Laura Burns 1 st Dan.

JOEY DUNLOP LEISURE CENTRE KARATE CLUB

The club meets for practice each Tuesday.
It has been based in Ballymoney for 25 years.
Club has Affiliation to Chujo Karate Association
Club has Northern Ireland Karate Board recognition.
The club has in previous years hosted the NIKB Championships.
New member classes are now available.
Children practice In the JDLC Minor Hall each Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm.
Adults practice each Tuesday in the Minor Hall from 8pm to 9.30pm
Senior Coach is Mr Dan Redmond 6th Dan. 
Assistant coaches are Mr Keith Millar 3rd Dan and Mr Ernest Tuff 2nd Dan.
In 2006 Dan Redmond won the Ballymoney Sports award for ‘Services to Sport’
