Direct financial assistance, specifically available for new start-up companies, is available from the Start-a-Business Programme, which is funded by Invest Northern Ireland and delivered in the borough by Acorn The Business Centre. Successful completion of the programme, which includes valuable training modules in how to effectively running a business, results in the award of a small start-up grant.
