Ballymoney Social Centre

Edward Street, Ballymoney

Formerly the Evergreen Hall, Ballymoney Social Centre is a multi-purpose hall with kitchen facility which is widely used by the local community for a variety of activities such as aerobics, talks, concerts, dancing and other social events. It is also the regular meeting place of many local groups.

Ballymoney Town Hall

1 Townhead Street, Ballymoney, BT53 6BE

The Town Hall was erected by public subscription in 1866. It was then renovated and enlarged in 1933 and opened in February 1934. With an auditorium which seats 350, the Town Hall is widely used by the local community for arts & cultural events including Ballymoney Drama Festival, the oldest Drama Festival in Ireland. The building also houses a variety of different sized rooms which are used on a regular basis by local community and voluntary groups.

This multi-purpose hall can be used for all indoor sports, meetings, conferences and exhibitions. The kitchen makes it an ideal venue to hold receptions of various types and sizes. The building also has changing rooms, shower facilities, an outdoor football pitch and a spacious play area for children.
