There are two civic amenity sites in Ballymoney Borough located at Burnquarter Road and Knock Road, where you can dispose of bulky household waste, garden waste and recyclables.
Both civic amenity sites allow for the collection and recycling of the following materials: aerosols, aluminium cans, batteries (lead acid and dry), books, domestic fridges/freezers, fluorescent tubes, gas cylinders, glass, mobile phones, paint, paper, plastic bottles, printer cartridges, scrap metal, tetra pac, textiles, waste cooking oil and waste engine oil.
In addition, Knock Road and Crosstagherty Civic Amenity sites accept waste electrical and electronic equipment (e.g. TVs, computers, audio equipment, kitchen appliances) from households.
Householders can deposit hardcore/rubble and soil at Crosstagherty civic amenity site only.
